DON'T STOP TIL YOU GET ENOUGH

ayatheman: “Masarap mamatay sa kamay ng kaaway ngunit masakit mamatay sa kamay ng kaibigan”. - Asiong Salonga I tried watching this as this may be overrated by many. I wanted to check if this movie really is worth it of the awards, the ratings of the people. It’s been a while since action movies have turned silent in the movie industry. Turned out it was a really great film for me and it made me believe that Filipinos can really make such a film to be proud of. I am not a movie critic so I can’t scrutinize the lapses I’ve observed and for me as an ordinary movie-goer it was a thumbs up. Despite the issues and controversies (if you may observe, Director’s name is not seen in all credits), Asiong Salonga: Manila Kingpin gave justice to what is a good Filipino Film.  PS, I will be waiting for the Director’s cut. :)
